Pharmacists are only treating nongenital warts
If there are warts on any type of gential or face those are referrals!!
Corns are on bony prominent like a knuckle on the feet or on the bunion
A wart can occur on any part of the skin and its one of the HPV viruses
We typically see warts on the hand and feet, nails
As a pharmacist we are only treating warts on the hands and feet if they are small enough*
This is a wart…it’s a cauliflower crater like and you can’t see a skin print here because its disrupting skin surface we are treating common, flat juvenile warts…we are NOT treating venereal which is genital and plantar is very painful…and we need to differentiate if its on the bottom of the foot is it really a wart or callus which we can tell by looking at it
Self-treatment of common and plantar warts SHOULD NOT CONITUNE PAST _____. A medical provider should evaluate patients who have warts that do not completely resolve after 12 weeks
12 weeks
