    • 2/3’s of these sudden deaths are the first manifestations of symptoms

  • inadequate systemic perfusion due to cardiac disfunction
    • 90% mortality rate
    • caused by MI
  • Can lead to pulmonary oedema, ischaemia and progressive myocardial dysfunction
