  • GPS, INT (internal time), or LT (local time) - in hours (00 to 23) and minutes (00 to 59).

Holding the MODE selector for two seconds will enter the Time Set Mode. In the Time Set Mode, pressing the MODE selector will cycle through the parameters to be changed. To exit the Time Set Mode, hold the MODE selector for two seconds.

SEL - Decreases the selected parameter in the Time Set Mode

ARMED: Arms nose wheel steering. Nose wheel steering is activated while the aircraft is on the ground (weight on wheels).

OFF: Nose wheel is set to the free castoring mode.

DSPL - Controls the intensity of CRT (PFD1/2 and MFD1/2)

INTEG - Controls the intensity of the integral instrument lighting

FLOOD - Controls the intensity of the flood lighting

FLOOR - Turns on/off the floor lighting on the corresponding side.

WIPER - OFF-PARK: Stops the wiper motor and stows the wiper.
SLOW: Selects the slow wiper speed.
FAST: Selects the fast wiper speed.

STALL PROTECTION - ON: Stick pusher is armed. Both the Captain’s and First Officer’s stall protection switch must be ON.
OFF: Stick pusher is disabled.
The switch is a lock type and is locked in the ON position.

BRG 1 and 2 - Sets NAV source for Bearing needle (OFF, VOR, ADF)

Range Selector/MFD Format - HSI, NAVAID SECTOR, FMS Map, Plan Map, Radar Map

TFC - Selects the TCAS display on the MFD.
If the selected range is less than 50 NM, TCAS overlays are available in VOR, NAVAID, FMS
If the FMS is inoperative, the display defaults to the VOR map mode.

RDR/TERR - Selects weather radar or terrain data for display.

NAV SOURCE - Rotate to select the desired navigation source.FMS 1 VOR 1/LOC 1 VOR 2/LOC 2
Push the inside of the knob for cross-side course selection. This is used only on the MFD when it is in the HSI and NAV format.

SPED REFS - Select the outer knob to the left for TGT (VT) and to the right for VSPDS (V1, VR, and V2) to be displayed in the edit field on the PFD.Rotate the inner knob to adjust the selected airspeed displayed in the edit field. Push to remove target or V speed from display. TGT: Displays VT speed in the edit field. VSPDS: Displays V1, VR, or V2 speed in the edit field.

SEL - Each press of the button selects either V1, VR, or V2 for adjustment when the TGT/VSPDS switch is in the VSPDS position.

DH/MDA - DH: Selects the Decision Height / Minimum Descent Altitude readout for editing. Rotating the inner knob adjusts the selected altitude readout. DH in 1-ft increments and MDA in 10-ft increments.Pressing the inner pushbutton, removes or restores the readout.

RA TEST - Push to initiate a test of the radio altimeter. The radio altimeter indicates 50 feet and the rising runway symbol appears.

HPA/IN - Press to select the barometric pressure scale: Hectopascals or inches of mercury.

BARO - Rotate to set the barometric setting.
Push to set the standard pressure setting.

PFD1: MFD mode is disabled. The CRT displays PFD1 information. The non-operational PFD1 is blank.

PFD2: MFD mode is disabled. The CRT displays PFD2 information. The non-operational PFD2 is blank.

NORM: MFD displays navigation, radar, and TCAS information.

EICAS: MFD mode is disabled. CRT displays secondary EICAS page information. (Used when one of the EICAS displays fails.)

DCU 1/2 Disable PBA (Guarded): Manually disables the selected DCU audio warning upon failure.

Disable light: Illuminates when disabled.

Flow Eye - Black=Cross (no flow) Yellow=cross (flow)

N/100% - N: Normal (diluter demand) operation. 100%: Pure oxygen on demand.

Reset - Tests and resets oxygen mask.

Emergency Knob - Push knob for slight overpressure.Turn knob to maintain overpressure.

Harness Plate - Press to inflate harness release to collapse.

TEST - Push to test the voice recorder system. The green light will illuminate.

ERASE - Press to erase all the recorded information provided: The button is pressed for at least two seconds, aircraft is on the ground, and parking brake set.

HEADSET - Used to plug in a headset. Test tones and cockpit sound recordings can be heard.
