Ratios compare numbers like 3 sheep 2 pigs or ,9 boats and 8 ships, would be 9-8 or 9:8, when dividing in ratios like 62 in 3:7, count the ratios together and then divide that no. By 62 which is 6.2 then times that by 3 and also 7 and then the two are the answered ratios.
