A

Group:Antifungal
Mechanism: Impairs cell membrane of fungus
Indication: Athlete’s foot, ringworm, candidiasis, jock itch, tinea
SE:Teratogenesis, liver injuries
Consideration:Discontinue if redness, swelling, irritation occurs, have good hygiene

Group:Antifungal
Mechanism: Impairs cell membrane of fungus
Indication: Fungus
SE:Mild GI distress, hypersensitivity
Consideration:Discontinue if redness, swelling, irritation occurs, have good hygiene

Fluocinonide (Lidex)

A

Group:Glucocorticoidsteroid
Mechanism: Anti-inflammatory
Indication: Eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis
SE:Skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, Cushing’s syndrome, hyperglycemia, and glucosuria
Consideration:Topically used, applied 2-4 times a day

Group:Glucocorticoidsteroid
Mechanism: Anti-inflammatory,
Indication: Allergic rhinitis, eye diseases, intestinal problems
SE:Pharyngitis, rhinitis, headache, epitaxis
Consideration:Nasal spray or injection, don’t use if PT has TB or infections
