Explain enlarging and reducing a map.

A

To get new size of square- add or subtract percentage or amount it asks you to and multiply that by however much the side of the square is now.

To get new scale-
Enlarging: divide the original number by the new percentage.

Reducing: multiply denominator by reduced percent then divide by it flipping the fraction.

Note: the scale is always 1 to something
