Dysrhythmias Flashcards
normal (normal sinus rhythm / P with each QRS / 60 < HR < 100 / 0.12 < PR < 0.2 / QRS < 0.12, etc.)
sinus tachycardia
atrial flutter (sawtooth pattern / 3 or 4 short Ps between each QRS (normal width))
1st degree AV block (coordinated P and QRS / prolonged PR >0.25 ms)
ventricular fibrillation (completely irregular pattern / no appearance of QRS / but not flat)
sinus bradycardia
1st degree AV block (coordinated P and QRS / prolonged PR >0.20-0.25 ms) vs. normal (normal sinus rhythm / P with each QRS / 60
ventricular fibrillation (Completely irregular pattern / no appearance of QRS / but not flat)
atrial fibrillation (Irregular QRS rhythm/ no distinct P / irregular wave during diastole)
premature ventricular complex (PVC (or PVB) = single wide QRS / different morphology)
normal (normal sinus rhythm / P with each QRS / 60 < HR < 100 / 0.12 < PR < 0.2 / QRS < 0.12, etc.)
3rd degree AV block (P and QRS are completely dissociated / i.e. atria and ventricles beat independently)
premature ventricular complex (PVC (or PVB) = single wide QRS / different morphology)
atrial flutter (sawtooth pattern / 3 or 4 short Ps between each QRS (normal width))
ventricular tachycardia (rapid (typically > 130 bpm) / wide QRS / no P waves)
