Q

How to use quadrat?

A

1) find random coordinates and place qaudrat on ground
2) count number of individual plants of 1 species in qaudrat.
3) repeat lots
4) calculate mean (number of plants in 1m^2)
5) measure area of whole Habitat* mean plants in 1m^2

Q

How does the predator-prey cycle occur?

A

As prey increases predators increase and as they have more food to eat the number of prey goes down and the number of predictors goes up
