What does EIIP stand for?
Early identification and intervention program.
What is EIIPS primary responsibility?
Identify trends and patterns in employee behavior before they become risks and liabilities.
How does EIIP provide data to supervisors?
Detailed data in EPRs (employee performance review).
In the employee dashboard, what does green indicate?
No identification issues.
In the employee dashboard, what does yellow indicate?
Employee is once incident away from reaching an identified threshold.
In the employee dashboard, what does red indicate?
Employee has reached or surpassed an identification threshold.
All thresholds are calculated over a rolling year, with exception of;
Firearm discharges, calculated every 60 months.
What does EIIP use to calculate?
SOCs, sustained complaints, citizen review board requests, rifle deployment, firearm discharges, vehicle pursuits, and accidents.
What are EIIPS primary indicators?
Domestic violence, drug/alcohol use, criminal issue, moral turpitude, and indebtedness/garnishments.
How often WILL a supervisor review an employee’s dashboard?
On a monthly basis.
How long does a supervisor have to respond to an EIIP alert?
14 calendar days of the chain receiving the email notification.
How long until the chain has to coordinate and return the EIIP alert through blue team?
Within 45 days of receiving the EIIP notification email.
Can EIIP reports be documented in contact reports?
No.
What is the purpose of Significant Event Reporting (SER)?
To allow EIIP to identify employees that are involved in significant events to ensure employee wellness over a long term by monitoring the employee’s exposure to traumatic events.
What is considered a significant event?
Threatened death or serious bodily injury
Substantial threat to physical or emotional integrity.
Witnessing event that involves an above experience.
Learning about unexpected or violent death, serious harm, threat of death, injury experienced by family member or close associate.
On or off duty event which may adversely affect employees mental well being.
