What is a watt?
A
Watt - (W) - a unit of power. One watt measures the amount of work done when one amp flows through an electrical potential difference of one volt.

A
Amp - (I) - ampere - the measure of electrical charge passing through a given point in a circuit. Imagine the flow of electrons moving through a wire is like water moving through a pipe. In this example, “amps” measures the rate of flow.
