Engine oil temperature high (procedure)

A

Airspeed … INCREASE

If temp decreases below limit:
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE.

If temp stays above limit:
OEI airspeed … ESTABLISH

Affected engine … IDENTIFY

Engine main switch … IDLE

If oil temp still above limit:
Emergency engine shutdown … PERFORM

Land as soon as PRACTICABLE.

Both BUS TIE switches … OFF

Voltage and amps … NOTE HIGHER LOAD

BAT MSTR switch … OFF

If fire / smoke continues:
GEN switch (higher load) … OFF

If fire / smoke continues:
Both GEN switches … ON

Other GEN switch … OFF

If fire / smoke continues:
Both GEN switches … OFF

Land as soon as POSSIBLE.

Tail rotor failure - forward flight (FS procedure)

A

Collective … REDUCE TO MINIMIZE SIDESLIP

Airspeed … MAINTAIN 70+ KTS

Shallow approach … PERFORM

Airspeed… MAINTAIN 40 KTS

Nose left: Slow run-on landing with engine power applied.

Nose right: Retard one throttle to idle. Decel with cyclic, slightly reduce collective, retard second throttle. Manage yaw with throttle, cushion with collective.
