money that he was saving up to go to England, for a
car when he had not requested, just merely took it and
used it for his company that he thought Santiago would
take over, and the argument that followed was an
example of that.

For example, after this happened Santiago rushed into
the kitchen in a panic, inquiring his dad about the
money, in which sprung an argument about Santiago’s
life, with his dad not being supportive.

An over the shoulder shot perfectly displays this with
Santiago’s dad taking an aggressive stance, acting as
the authority, as Santiago seems thoroughly dismayed
and appalled at his dad at doing this as he expresses
his feelings of despair.
