A
- Asian
- birth weight > 4 Kg
- OP
- prolonged second stage
- Instrumental delivery
5
Q
Protective factors
A
- Episiotomy in instrumental deliveries
- Mediolateral, 60 degrees
- Perineal support when head crowning
- Warm compression during second stage

Q
Episiotomy facts
A
- Needs to be 45-60 degrees
- A 40 degree episiotomy results in a 22 degree angle post delivery
- A 60 degree episiotomy results in a 45 degree angle post delivery
7
