Spreadsheet
An electronic file that contains a grid of columns and rows to organize related data and to display results of calculations, enabling interpretation of quantitative data for decision making.
Worksheet
spreadsheet that usually contains descriptive labels, numeric values, formulas, functions, and charts.

Name Box
A rectangular area that displays the address (or name) of the active cell, selected chart, or selected table. Use the Name Box to go to a cell or table; select a range; or assign a name to one or more cell
Cancel
A command that is used to cancel data being entered or edited into the active cell. The Cancel command changes from gray to red when you position the pointer over it.
Enter
A command that is used to accept data typed in the active cell and keep the current cell active. The Enter command changes from gray to blue when you position the pointer over it.
Insert Function
A command that displays the Insert Function dialog box to search for and select a function to insert into the active cell. The Insert Function command changes from gray to green when you position the pointer over it.
Formula Bar
A bar that shows the contents (text, value, date, formula, or function) stored in the active cell. You enter or edit cell content here
