Because they don’t have clean drinking water, health care facilities, and proper sanitation and this leads to higher rates of infant mortality and more people dying in old age due to easily preventable illnesses.

It’s the pattern of life where across the globe fewer families can rely on a sole provider typically a male so women must find work as well

It is base on notions that economic consequences will be best if individuals are free to make their own decisions with no government restrictions
What is modernization theory?
It updated the market oriented approach by saying that poor nations should abandon traditional economic, technological and cultures ways in order to “modernize” and thus advance their societies

It becomes the prevailing economic view in society in which free market forces with minimal government restrictions become the path to growth

The process of western nations establishing rule and exploiting resources in other parts of the world as they were territories

It develops political economic system in which powerful countries exploit territories for profit

A unified system of capitalism – that developing countries are not exploited by individual countries but by the whole capitalist profit seeking system
