F Flashcards
Types of Decision making ?
ANR- Analytical, naturalistic and rule based.
Stall Recovery ***
ICC , initiate, Continue and complete
Stall I is..
smoothly apply nose down elevator to reduce the AOA until buffet or stick shaker stops.
Stall C is…
Roll in shortest direction to LVL
ADV TL as needed
Retract S/B
Dont change config
Stall Cte is…
Check a/s and adjust THR as needed
Set Pitch
Return to desired flight path
Re-engage A/P
During stall PM does..
Monitor ALT and AS
Verify actions done
Call out any trend toward ground contact
If you suspect AIRSPEED UNRELIABLE –look at?
The speed tape to see the source of the speed.
AIRSPEED UNRELIABLE recall actions
1Autopilot disconnect switch Push 2A/T ARM switches (both) OFF 3F/D switches (both) OFF 4Set the following gear up pitch attitude and thrust: Flaps extended 10° and 85% N1 Flaps up 4° and 70% N1
What are the 3 Air data module failures?
NAV AIRSPEED DATA
NAV AIR DATA SYS
AIRSPEED UNRELIABLE
What source generates NAV AIRSPEED DATA ?
All 3 Pitot systems blocked
Auto switch to AOA speed
FPV is good !
What source generates NAV AIR DATA SYS?
Static -all 3! AOA speed and GPS ALT-NO FPV!!!
AIRSPEED UNRELIABLE-Why?
No faults are detected but FCC detect an inconsistency between air data sensed and backup airspeed calculated by AOA.
What is a 2D approach
A 2D instrument approach operation is an approach operation during which the pilot will only use lateral guidance.
What is a 3D approach?
A 3D instrument approach operation is an approach operation during which the pilot will use lateral and vertical guidance.
Non precision approach is?
Non-precision approach procedures: A non-precision approach procedure only takes into account lateral guidance. The vertical plane is protected by minimum altitudes, in successive steps. Non-precision approach procedures can be operated in 2D or 3D.
