Gross Lettable Area (Definition)
Total area of an industrial building that can be used by tenants.
The bottom of the door is level with the grade, but a well has been created so a truck can drive down and have the trailer level with the door.

Used for complex or technical manufacturing or research.
General Warehousing – Bulk (Any Characteristic)
Large buildings that occupy over 50% of the lot size.

• May contain up to three units.

• Typically few loading doors or storage space, as goods are produced and shipped quickly.
• Mostly Single tenant.
• Requires large land sites because of the noise, smell, or waste products from the production.
