Q

What are the two steps involved in calculating Density Altitude?

A

Correct current altitude for differences to ISA Pressure to gain ‘Pressure Altitude’

Correct ‘Pressure Altitude’ for differences to ISA Temperature

Then you have density altitude.

Q

What happens to performance if the CoG is forward?

A

Performance is reduced

A forward CofG requires more down-force from the tail plane ot raise the nose, adding weight to the aircraft. The high AoA required also increases drag.
