5 pairs of arteries. 4 from cerebral arterial circle (circle of willis).rostral middle caudal cerebral. rostral cerebellar. 1 from basilar artery, caudal cerebellar
blood for canine
rostral half of brain by internal carotid. blood to caudal half is vertebral artery
feline/ovine blood
entire brain supplied by maxillary artery. in cats, the basilar carries away
bovine blood
mixture of maxillar and vertebral
forebrain disease signs
seizures, altered mentation, behavioral change, dementia, loss of training. pacing, wandering, wide-circles typically towards lesion. head turn is towards the lesion
