A

No its acquired ,First sip of breast milk and birthing (mother’s mouths, maybe)

  • Traps dust and kills pathogens

- Propel trap microbes to the back of the throat where they can be swallowed of coughed

How can they be harmful?

  • Anaerobe
  • Help digest nutrients and calories that otherwise wouldn’t be digestible
  • Oppurtanisicit- there okay in there normal place unless they are not in the normal place

Stomach acid secretion doesn’t begin until three mounths of age

Maturation of attached bacteria into a differentiated biofilm?

  • afailure of an agent to penetrate the full depth of the biofilm.
  • anti biotics only kill planktonic cells released by the biofilms it doesn’t kill the bio film
