why the fundal height?
molar pregnancy
not all moles have a larger-than-expected fundal height. know that. they will try to trick you with that.
bleeding is UNIVERSAL.
woman says its been 10 weeks since her LMP, but her fh is 16.
what do you do?
what are you trying to determine and rule out?
pelvic US
you want to determine gestational age, while ruling out ectopic or molar preg
hey this lady hasn’t had a period for 8 wks. her HCG is 1200. what do you do?
expectant mgmt, re-check HCG in a week
HCG<1500 so you wouldn’t be able to visualize a normal IUP.
27 y G1P1 presents with seizures at 2 months post vaginal delivery. Her husbands said she’s been having HA’s of increasing pain and frequency. what should you order to work her up?
This is GTD. There may have been some retained abnormal placenta from her pregnancy.

- CT chest, abdomen, and pelvis to locate primary tumor and metastases
