A
Its a way of measuring life expectancy, education and wealth

How does it measure ?
A
Each variable eg. wealth is given a score from 0 - 1000 the HDI is the average of the three scores.

Why is it useful ?
A
Because it measures more than wealth and tells you about quality of life in that country.
