What is the purpose of the PPACA act?
To make health insurance easier to pay
What does TRICARE do?
It provides care for uniformed members in the military.
What does co-insurance do?
It helps make health insurance cheaper. Insurance will pay on portion, you will pay the other.
What administration regulates food and drug safety?
FDA (Food and Drug Adminstraion)
What are some service offered by medical offices?
Lab testing, Treatment, Therapy, Emergency care
What does OSHA do?
It helps make work environments safe and protects workers from injuries, and illnesses.
What does CHIP do?
It takes care of uninsured children with illnesses that can’t afford Medicaid.
What does Medicaid only pay for?
Medicaid pays a portion of the co-insurance for everybody except those that are more wealthy and can actually afford medical care.
