Describe the Endocardium

Describe the Myocardium
Thick, muscular middle layer of the heart consisting of cardiac muscle fibres only found in the heart.
The Myocardium is the largest portion of the heart wall and is responsible for the pumping action of the heart contracting with each heartbeat, pumping blood.
Describe the Epicardium
Outer most layer of the heart wall formed by squamous epithelial cells and connective tissue containing nerve fibres,blood vessels,fat and capillaries.
Main coronary arteries are located on this layer.
