Hemophilia (deficiency in factor VIII, IX, or XI), acquired hemophilia, severe von Willebrand disease, heparin in sample (an anticoagulant), fibrin split products. Also can indicated Factor XII deficiency or lupus anticoagulant (both non-bleeding disorders).
