*kindle supposed to evole feelings of warmth and the beginning of something)

A
  • Amazon Kindle @ $79 (no backlight) lower battery life than voyage and paperweight battery life but more memory (4GB)
  • Amazon kindle voyage @ $200 (lighter, lighting, good resolution, best one out according to cnet)
  • Kindle paperweight @ $119 (ac adapter isnt included, you only get usb cable for charging, ad free version costs $20 more..faster processor, more responsive screen, better light)
  • Kindle fire HDX 7 @ $179 (sharp screen, good UI overall good value for amazon prime members) (ad removal $15 more, 16GB is too small for 1080p movies, no built in expansion. No google play option) (overall good because prime, cheap, amazons content library - movies, music, books etc)

Q

Amazon alignment of tablets

A

Dropping kindle moniker and aligning with “fire” (phone is struggling, fire tv only moderate success)

Company was trying to bouy fire phone with tablet’s reputation and dissociate device from e-reader.
