What is Eutrophication?
A
Caused by excessive nutrients from fertillisers.

How will eutrophication affect the pond ecosystem?
A
Results in aquatic plant growth of algae and duckweed. Algae blooms prevent sunlight no oxygen. Seaweed can’t acesses to sunlight. Death and oxygen depletion. Bacteria in ponds die due to lack of oxygen. Death of Ecosystem.

Smaller fish, small animals!

What happens if you add perch in (addition of a perch)
A
As perch eat smaller fish,small animals. It will reduce amount of food for creatures further up the food chain and with fewer frogs it will increased in creatures below frogs in food chain!
