1. Turn off AC circuit breaker
2. Turn on fuel valve
3. Turn on engine switch
4. Move choker lever to CLOSED
5. Pull the starter rope lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly
   (Note: make sure pilot lamp comes on. If not, check bulb filament).
6. Move the choke lever to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.
