Hydraulic Flashcards
System pressure
Normal 3000 psi for each system. Green, Yellow and Blue. Each with own resovoir .2500 psi when powered by RAT.
Can hydraulic fluid be transfered from one system to another?
No
Green system pump
Operated by engine 1
Blue system pump
Electric pump pressurizes Blue system. RAT in case of Emergency
Yellow system pump
Engine 2 pump. An Electric pump Can also pressurise the Yellow system. Allows hydraulic on Ground. Also hans pump for cargo door when No Electric.
PTU
Between green and Yellow system
RAT
Drop out turbine coupled to Blue system.
Works if electrics is lost on both engines.
Auto deploy if AC BUS 1 and AC BUS 2 are both lost.
Manual activatiob via pb.
Can only be showed on Ground
System accumulator
Help maintain constant pressure during transient demand during normal operation
Priority Valves
Cut off hydraulic power to heavy load users if system pressure gets low
Fire shut off valves
Each green and Yellow system has a fire shutoff valve upstream of its engine driven pump.
Close by pushing eng 1 or 2 fire pb
Leak measurement valve
Located upstream each system of the primary Flight controls.
Operated by leak measurement valves pb sw on maintanance panel.
