What are the 10 C’s you have to consider when you writer a memo, letter or article?
1. Complete: don’t assume reader knows what you want to say
2. Concise: each word has to county, not too wordy.
3. Clear: you don’t have to read between the lines to understand message
4. Conversational: if you don’t want to say it, don’t write it in an email
5. Correct: names, mechanics, accurate and format
6. Coherent: transitional words: change direction, cause / effect or continue a thought
7. Credible: accurate specific facts, not leading facts.
8. Concrete: no vague words with multiple meanings
9. Courteous: think of reader’s benefits and make them feel valued
10. Considerate: easy to read, emphasize purpose and paragraph is short with correct format
