Type of Animal- Individual factors such as breed, age, nutritional & immune statistics
Agent- capacity to produce disease
Environment- overcrowding of animals, mixing animals from different origins

A

incidental- not linked to disease or cause of death

Significant- cause of death

A

e.g. large tumours produce oestrogen, which causes feminisation leading to shrinking of the testicles
