A
Type of Animal- Individual factors such as breed, age, nutritional & immune statistics
Agent- capacity to produce disease
Environment- overcrowding of animals, mixing animals from different origins

What is the difference between an incidental lesion and a significant lesion?
A
incidental- not linked to disease or cause of death
Significant- cause of death

What does remote effects mean?
Give an example of this.
A
the effect disease has at other sites of the body
e.g. large tumours produce oestrogen, which causes feminisation leading to shrinking of the testicles
