What is the instrumental theory of goverment?
Governent are instruments and are created for a utilitarian purpose and they should only survive as long as they fulfill their practice mission and do not abuse their power under the social contract.
What are the six characteristics of states?
Sovereignty, territory, population, diplomatic recognition, internal organization domestic support
What is an authoritarian government?
Those that allow little or no participation in decision making by individuals or groups outside the upper reaches of the government.
What is theocracy?
Ruled by spiritual leaders
What is the last theocracy?
Holy See (Vatican)
What is monarchism?
A form of secular authoritarianism. God has granted kinds the divine right to govern.
What is a democratic government?
Allows citizens To broadly and meaningfully participate in the political process.
