Islam is the 3rd most popular religion in the world - around 25% of the world follows Islam. It originated around 1400 years ago in Arabia.
Who was Muhammad & what did he do?
Muhammad was the prophet of Allah. Born in 570 he was raised by his trustworthy uncle and ,married Khadijah who admired him in 610 angel Jobrol appeared to him and taught Muhammad the words of Allah. What is the qur’an and why is it important?
The holy book of Islam containing the words Muhammad received from God. Means ‘recitation’. Must be recited in Arabic and translations are only seen as interpretations.
