A

No joint cavity
Held together by short fibers embedded in connective tissue
Present in skull (suture joint)
Shaft region of long bones in forearm and leg
Root of tooth and socket in maxilla

Cartilaganous joints

A

At cartilaganous joints ,bones are held together by cartilage.these joints lack a joint cavity .held by hyaline cartilage or fibrocartilage
Examples
.costal cartilage that attach ribs to sternum
.pubic symphysis and invertebra disc

Synovial joints?

A

They are freely movable joints
These joints have cavity filled with fluid and are adapted to reduce friction.
Held by hyaline cartilage
There are 2 type of synovial joint
Hinge joint :pair of muscles are arranged in same plane as that of joint .such joint allows movement in two directions
Ball and socket joints :such joints allow movement in all directions.at such joints pairs of muscles are arranged perpendicular to each other
Hip and shoulder joints are examples of ball and socket joints
