What is the normal range for serum phosphorous?
2.7-4.5 mg/dL
What is the patient goal for total cholesterol?
<200
What troponin I level indicates MI?
Normal < 2.5 ng/dL, so anything over that would indicate MI. Starts rising 2-3 hours after, peaks at about 12 hours after infarct.
What is considered a normal aPTT range?
20-36 seconds. Therapeutic for Heparin is 1.5-2.5 times that, so 30-90 seconds is therapeutic for heparin therapy.

8-25
What is the normal range for creatinine?
0.6-1.3
What is the normal range for serum sodium?
135-145
What is the normal range for serum potassium?
3.5-5
What is the normal range for serum calcium?
8.5-10
What is the normal range for PT time?
9.6-10.8 (10 seconds works for me!) If a person is on warfarin, 1.5-2 times that is therapeutic (15-25 seconds) My book says that NCLEX will have it at 30+ because that puts the patient at high risk for bleeding.
What is the normal range for Troponin T?
0 to 0.1
What is the normal range for serum amylase?
25-150
