Opposite to figurative language, fact based language

Meaning of Emotive language ?
When the writer try’s to make the reader emotional
Meaning of collocation ?
Two existing words put together with and /or between and make a new phrase e.g boys and girls

Use of mild language to soften the impact to sound more polite e.g passed away for death
Meaning of Dysphemism ?
Opposite to euphemism, so using the offensive vocabulary and not softening impact

Words that are no longer used ( they have died out )
