Transforms stools & reabsorbs fluids
LI channel pathology
Epistaxis, watery nasal discharge, toothache, congested/sore throat
Pain in neck, ant. shoulder, & ant. border of lateral aspect of upper limb
Borborygmus
Abd. pain
Diarrhea & dysentery
Luo Channel

Joins w/ LU channel three cun above wrist
Ascends arm thru LI 15 to jaw & cheek, divides, one branch connecting w/ teeth, other entering the ear

Host-Guest Method
Use Source point on affected channel,
& Luo point on paired channel

Joints- dorsum of wrist, lateral aspect of elbow, shoulder

Spasm, cramping, pain along course of channel
Impaired movement of arm, shoulder stiffness, frozen shoulder
Neck pain/stiffness, restricted rotation

Diverges/Separates: from LI pri. ch. on the hand
Ascends arm to shoulder at LI 15
Travels medially to spinal column
Enters: to connect to organs via SCF, descends to thorax, breast, LU & LI
A branch emerges: from SCF &
Converges/Unites: with LI pri. ch. at LI 18 (at the throat)
