income is the amount of money a household revives. people with low income eace poverty and are likely to be faced with ill health and reduced opportunities for development. as they cannot afford nutritional food, gym memberships, housing in safe clean areas, educational resources

it effects children- don’t do as well in school, fewer job prospects, tired fatigue
effects family- cant afford holidays, overcrowding lack of space, see parents go hungry
