Why is Antartica so important?
A
It is unique keeping the earth theright temperature. It is 4km thick ice. It provides historical data on life millions of years ago. If it melts a little it will impact the earth.

Erosion
Salinated soil - people different crops
Different habitats, different plants / animals
More flooding - people will drown, become malnourished due to crop failures etc
Earth temperature may increase
Less land
More diseases - people health and death
Increase rainfall - less predictable weather impacting industries
