LR 12-femoral vein/ no lateral needling

LR 13-deep perpendicular, enlarged LR or SP
( N: transverse or oblique along the line of the rib)

LR 14-deep perpendicular or oblique, Pneumothorax
(N: oblique medial or lat. 0.5-1cun)

No Moxa (depending on what Ablerta says)

palpate femoral artery 1st

Femoral vein is 1 finger breath in diamater medial to it. LR 12 is medial to femoral vein.

This helps identify the tendons of semitendinosus and semimembranosus

Point may be needled with a pillow under the leg

Semitendinosus( posterior to semi membranosos) is the most prominent

A

Medial epicondyle of the femur
4 cun sup!
