Q

How it is shown that Macduff puts his country before his family

A

he makes a mistake by going to England leaving his family unprotected, his decision shows a strong sense of justice but also a lack of ‘wisdom’, when he finds out that Macbeth has had them murdered he is overcome by grief - ‘All my pretty ones?’ but other men see emotion as weakness, Macbeth kills Macbeth to put the rightful heir on the throne and avenge his family
