homoside act- 1957 ended the death penalty for certain crimes but remained for murder.

social reform in the wolfenden commission homosexuality should no longer be a crime.

clean air act- prevent the smog suit would be on the walls of buildings not good for the health
facctory act aimed at impoorving living standards and working conditions.

education working towards comprehensive school system away from grammar schools. edward boyle said he should abandon the 11+.

A

age of afflunace- people felt wealthy under the conservatives wages doubled.

economy grew but still remained sluggish compaired to the usa. continued a mixed economy.

keynsianism-aviod inflation and deflation and blaence of payments crisis. meant that interest rates rose give away budgets where taxes would be lowered and that encouraged people to spend more on consumer goods.

stop go-where the governemtn will stop growth and then allow it to continue
stop-demand falls and output increases
go- controls removed and demand increase.
lead to devaluation.
