Q

what is the difference between megaloblastic and non megaloblastic macrocytic anaemia?

A
  • megaloblastic anaemia is a direct result of impaired DNA synthesis (but RNA synthesis not impaired so build up of intracellular components making it big)
  • non-megaloblastic no DNA synthesis inhibition
