(What) Leather has been used in the design of the chair. (Where) We can see the use of this on the base, back and ottoman where the user will lay, so the chair changes to fit its users torso, as well as legs, making it more comfortable to use. (Why) This as been done to add a softness, as over time, wrinkes and a patina will form. This shapes the seat to each indiviudual user, giving the chair a more familliar and comfortable feel.

A

(What) The chair has combined both new and old materials techniques. (Where) For example, this is done by using traditional wood material combined with the more modern technique of laminating some sections. This preserves the natural look, while adding that extra structural support and durablility. (Why) It allows the chair to have a more rustic and timely feel through materials, however the use of new techniques adds improved physical properties.
