who am I:
- I’m positive, sociable, love working with people, which is why id like to work in a customer service based job, having that interaction with a diverse range of people and customers each day is something I find important. Also Mcd is a well established company, I understand that the work environment can be fast paced and not always predictable, so honestly I’m looking for a job that challenges me but that I also find rewarding.
Why mcd:
- Big name, good reputation. Especially when I was a kid Id remember going to mcds and it being a nice atmosphere - something id like to be a part of, working on my feet, always doing something, easily bored otherwise. I think because of the versatility of the job here, it would also teach me a lot of valuable skills and give me more experience
- I live locally so I want to work to help the people in my local community
3 strengths:
- Work well under pressure - not getting stressed, good communicator - from team sports, group projects this year at uni, quick learner - whatever is thrown at me I like being put in new environments - allow me to develop myself/skills
3 weaknesses:
- Ability to stay focused doing 1 thing for long periods of time - like change, perfectionist -
Why hire me?
- Im dedicated to any job I do, tick all the boxes and also have the initiative to go beyond to make sure my colleagues are supported if I can - invaluable to the team,
Helping a difficult customer:
- Good ant staying calm under pressure, Listen, be patient, polite. Whatever it is, its a restaurant, there will be a solution, and I will do what I can to resolve whatever problem they’ve got. If it really is something outsode of my power to help them, then I would call on my supervisor/team leader but the main thing is just to stay calm, talk it through, make sure conflicts are resolved.
Availability:
- Very flexible, only part time so it should be fine outside of mon and Friday, wed: 1pm onwards, thurs: 11-3pm sat/sun 10 onwards flexible - 25 hours/week
