Difference between “me” , “mi”, “mis”, and “yo”

A

Mi= my (possessive adjective )
Exp: mi casa= my house

Mis= same as “mi” but plural form. Mis casas. My houses.

Me= “me” or “myself” can do something to myself.
Exp: Me puedo vestir solo.= I can dress myself

Yo= I (subject pronoun)
Exp: Yo puedo correr rápido.= I can run fast.

• Use “ese” for masculine things
• Use “esa” for feminine things
• Use “eso” when you’re not naming the thing

Difference between “bien” and “bueno”

A
  1. “Bueno” = Good (Adjective)

Describes nouns (things, people, ideas).
• Es un libro bueno. – It’s a good book.
• Ella es buena. – She is good.
• La comida está buena. – The food is good.

  1. “Bien” = Well (Adverb)

Describes verbs (how something is done) or overall states.
• Ella canta bien. – She sings well.
• Estoy bien. – I’m fine / well.
• Lo hiciste bien. – You did it well.

Quick Trick to Remember:
• Use “bueno” to describe what something is.
• Use “bien” to describe how something is done or how someone feels.
