Loss of braking
Rev - Max Brake pedals - Release A/skid Off - order A/skid & NWS - off Brake pedals - press Max BRK pressure - 1000PSI
If still no braking:
Park brake - use
Emer Descent
Crew Oxy masks - use
Signs - on
Emer descent - initiate
If ATHR not active:
THR Levers - isle
Spd BRK - full
Stall warning
Nose down pitch control - apply Bank - Wings level Thrust - increase smoothly as required Speed brakes - check retracted Flight path - recover smoothly
If I’m clean config and below 20000ft:
Flap 1 - Select
Stall warning at lift off
Thrust - TOGA
Pitch attitude - 15 degrees
Bank - wings level
Unreliable speed indication
AP - off
ATHR - off
FD - off
Pitch/thrust:
Below THRUST RED ALT - 15/TOGA
Above THRUST RED ALT & below FL100-10/CLB
Above THURST RED ALT & above FL100 5/CLB
Flaps - Maintain (unless config full)
Speed brakes - check retracted
L/G - Up
EGPWS Cautions
AP - Off Pitch - pull up (full backstick) THR Levers - TOGA Speed brakes lever - Check retarded Bank - wings level/adjust
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLE
GPWS Warnings
Simultaneously: AP - off Pitch - pull up (full backstick) THR Lvr - TOGA Speed brakes lever - check retarded Bank - wings level/adjust
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLE
TCAS WARNINGS
AP - off
Both FDs - off
Respond promptly and smoothly to reach the green scale on the V/S
Windshear
If after V1:
THR LVR - TOGA
Reach VR - rotate
SRS order - follow
Airborne, initial climb, landing:
THR LVR at TOGA - set or confirm
AP (If engaged) - keep on
SRS orders - follow
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR
Windshear ahead
When airborne:
THR LVR - TOGA
AP (if engaged) - keep on
SRS order - follow
Landing:
Go around - perform
AP (if engaged) - keep on
CONFIG CAN BE CHANGED AS LONG AS NOT IN WINDSHEAR
Too low gear/flaps
Go around - perform
