Whats the mensuration cyle?
A
The changes that occur in a females body in order to prepare for the possibility of the egg being fertilized.

Whats FSH?
A
Follicle Stimulating Hormone. Made by pituitary gland and makes the ovaries make estrogen.

What does LH do?
A
Luteinising Hormone.
Inhibits FSH, stimulates egg release.

Whats progestorone?
A
Secreted by empty egg follicle.
Inhibits FSH and LH to make sure other eggs arent released

What happens in the mensuration cycle?
A
The lining sheds over the course of 5 days, this is reffered to as the period. After that ovulation happens which is when the egg is released and the uterus lining thickens. If a sperm doesn’t come along then the lining sheds and the cycle starts all over again.
