Describe the steps for splicing
A
- Cut 6” piece from both sides of MDI
- Perform blow test to ensure powder exists in both sides.
- Tie overhand knot (square knot) with loose ends.
- Push open ends of MDI into splicing tubes. ensure shock tubes are at most 1/4 inch apart.
