What are the Side effects of Scoline?

A
  • Increased ICT (c/b avoided by NMDA pre rx)
  • Increased IOP (c/b avoided by NMDA pre rx)
  • Arrythmias - Sinus Bradycardia, Junctional Rythms, Ventricular arrythmias
  • Masseter Spasm- m/c in children
  • Increased IGP - Significance in Hiatus Hernia, Intust obstruction etc –> to prevent aspiration of gastric contents
  • Muscle pain
  • HYPERKALEMIA - increase by 0.5 meq/ml
